Fendt tractors are designed for a long service life.

Fendt regularly provides software updates to ensure that older models remain technically up to date over their lifetime. The trailer brake assist receives an additional function where the driver can proactively brake the trailer for the first time. TMS Flex adds another combined driving mode to the well-known TMS. Also included are new options guidance and headland management. In the area of section control, there is an improvement in tramline planning.

Further development of the Fendt trailer brake assist
The Fendt trailer brake assistant stabilises the trailer with a pneumatically braked trailer in critical situations, enabling the trailer to slow down independently of the towing vehicle.
The control is designed for a speed of up to a maximum of 25 km/h and ensures greater safety in the tractor and trailer on the road or in hilly terrain.

In the further developed version, two active driving modes are now selectable. In manual mode, the driver selects a fixed pressure of 1.6 bar by operating a freely assignable button or the driver can place the operation on a linear module, the 3L-Joystick or on the multi-function joystick. Then they control the trailer brake pressure via a proportionally acting operating element and can control a significantly higher braking power of up to 4.4 bar. In automatic mode, TBA would be permanently active. In manual mode, the driver can switch between the service brake and the proactive TBA and, for example, uses the TBA as required just before the hairpin turns.

The further developed version of trailer brake assist TBA is offered optionally for new machines. An automatic update is performed on existing machines with TBA.

Trailer brake assist packages also include the wear-free, hydraulic auxiliary brake, VarioDrive, the low-speed concept, Fendt Stability Control in the Fendt 700 and 800 Vario series, and the Fendt Reaction steering system with automatic steering response.

New generation TMS: TMS Flex
Fendt now equip all wheeled tractors with the new generation of the Fendt Tractor Management System (TMS) as standard. TMS Flex complements the previous driving modes with a combined mode. With the new TMS Flex mode, the Multi-function joystick and accelerator pedal are now activated for TMS simultaneously in combined operation. This means that drivers set a speed via the accelerator pedal or Multi-function joystick. The Multi-function joystick and accelerator pedal can over ride each other, and engine speed and transmission ratio are automatically optimised for low fuel consumption.
 
The advantages of the combined use of the accelerator pedal and Multi-function joystick lie in the seamless changeover and the resulting optimised power utilisation.
 
With the update, the machines also receive a new version of the multi-function joystick. This has an assigned control button with the icon for TMS Flex on the left outside. 

The new function can be retrofitted for current Fendt tractor series. 
The retrofitting kit can be ordered via AGCO Parts and includes the new multi-function joystick, the new vehicle software and the conversion in the workshop.

Save multiple headland lines for a field and obstacle possible
Drivers can now store and manage multiple headland lines per area and obstacle. If the working widths of cultivator, drill, sprayer or fertiliser spreaders differ, stored headland lines can be recalled if necessary without overwriting the existing segments. This ensures that headland lines remain permanently available, even if other operations with different headland requirements have been carried out in the meantime. This saves setup time and ensures more precise results on the area.

New option for irregular track-to-track distances: Track lines patterns
The new track lines pattern calculates track lines with irregular track-to-track intervals. Drivers decide between a defined number of way-lines, logistics and work routes. The function permanently integrates logistics and work paths into the Fendt guidance headland upstream planning steps directly from the FendtONE driver's workplace. Wayline patterns improve workflows by simplifying coordination between machine work, manual work and logistics.

Fendt Tramline Control now also covers half working widths
With the latest update, Tramline Control Parameters can be adjusted directly on the tractor. This makes Fendt one of the first manufacturers to meet the TRACK certification according to the AEF standards. The update also enables track planning with half a working width.
