The Fendt 300 Gen5 Vario series has been extended to include the Fendt 310 Vario DP model, and offers the Fendt DynamicPerformance added power concept for all models. In addition, new features include a Cat. 4 cab, new driver's seat, heated front window, separate valves for the front loader, The modern design includes daytime running lights and rear lights with dynamic turn signals.

In the Gen5 series of five models covers the power range from 103 to 152hp (76-112kW). The Fendt 310 Vario with an output of 103hp, increases to 113hp with Fendt DynamicPerformance (DP). This introduces a lower horsepower tractor to the range. For the first time, Fendt DynamicPower is included in the complete range of tractors from 103-142hp. Fendt DP releases up to 10hp (7kW) of added power through an intelligent control system when it is required due to the secondary consumers such as PTO, compressed air supply or air-conditioning. The 4-cylinder AGCO Power engine is already approved for HVO100 and other fuels in accordance with DIN 15940. Operating with HVO significantly reduces the CO2 footprint of the machine.

The 300 series can be used on smaller grassland and arable farms, and on larger farms they are used with front loaders.  The variable use of this tractor means various needs for the tractor range. Depending on the need, owners can choose between Power, Profi and Profi+ versions and 230 equipment options, and 100 choices for tyres and track widths. The 300 series can be configured with a guidance system, telemetry and many different functions for ease of use. They are maintenance-friendly due easily accessible lubrication points.

 Great in arable farming

The agile and smart Fendt 300 Vario works efficiently in arable farming. A 1000E PTO for economical use is available for the Fendt 300 Vario series (can be ordered from Autumn 2026). Equipped with the FendtONE driver's workstation as standard, it has all the smart options of the Fendt large tractors.  Fendt Guide enables precision work down to two centimetres, and also has an ISOBUS interface. An extra holder on the A-pillar ,including USB-C socket, increases comfort for drivers (expected order availability from autumn 2026).

 The new seat is rotatable and ventilated giving more comfort for times that require frequently looking behind the tractor. The new rear camera and the new GroundVision drawbar lighting improve the view directly behind the vehicle, for example when manoeuvring or when mounting implements, which increases safety and simplifies work.

 Optionally, for the Fendt 300 Vario, an additional K50 hitch is available for use in front of implements with forced steering. This allows the transfer of the steering angle and is a safety feature when working on steep angles.

 Apple CarPlay will be available through the Fendt infotainment via cable or Bluetooth, with controls via the terminal on the armrest. The software will be rolled out in June 2026.

Optimal for maintenance use

With factory-installed crop tyres, the Fendt 300 Vario has a ground clearance of 510mm. This enables row crop maintenance work without damaging the crops.

A permissible overall weight of 9.5t and about 4t payload weight can be used on the Fendt 300 series, which means the tractors can be used with heavier implements. The FendtONE operating system also uses the ISOBUS system and can be used alongside smart functions such as Section Control or Variable Rate Control for spraying, fertilising and other applications. This saves operating costs and protects the environment.

 

Precision in vegetable cultivation

In vegetable cultivation, tractors often work at low speeds, but have high demands on precision when planting beds or tilling soil ridges. Smart Farming options in FendtONE, such as a guidance system, including automatic headland management, telemetry and ISOBUS functions such as TIM can help with efficiency. The payload of approx. 4tons, means the tractor also works flexibly, with heavy implements such as planters.

 

Light and agile in grassland

The Fendt 300 Vario series has been popular on grassland farms. They have a low weight, and high ground clearance at high performance. With Fendt DynamicPerformance, the series has more power when it is required, for example, mowing with large mower combinations, and alongside a Vario transmission, it works gently on the soil. Independent control of PTO speed and forward speed also has it’s advantages. The Fendt 300 Vario now offers a total of five valves, four of them are in the rear and one in the front (4+1), so that mower combinations with additional functions, such as hydraulic folding of the safety curtain can also be used. The low centre of gravity and the constant force ensure safety on slopes. The optional GroundVision drawbar lights the area between the tractor and the implement, so that when used with a round baler or forage wagon, the move from the swath into the pick-up is visible.

The front power lift can also be equipped with a comfort front lift as an option, and does not reduce full steering. This leads to a stable driving and high manoeuvrability.

Trailer brake assistant effectively supports a forage wagon while in use on a slope, and keeps the thrust load constant when driving downhill, reducing the use of the foot brake. An additional hydraulic brake can also be ordered starting in autumn 2026.

New possibilities for the front loader

The good all-round vision, Vario transmission, small turning circle, Fendt Active overlay steering, Stop & Go function and the increased axle load of the front axle from 7.5t, combined with a powerful hydraulic system makes the Fendt 300 Vario series perfect for front loader use. The panoramic window in the Fendt VisioPlus cab ensures a vertically continuous 77 degree viewing angle. 

 

The Fendt 300 Vario has a very powerful hydraulic system with a variable flow pump giving a maximum flow volume of 110l/min in series and up to seven valves. Of these, two or three valves are specially designed for the front loader. This means that an additional five valves are available at all times at the rear and at the front. The new four or six speed multi-coupler reduces pressure losses and the automatically opening and closing protective flap protects against contamination. The improved tool lock can securely lock and unlock attached tools in any position. 

Especially for customers who want to use the 3rd valve or Profi functions, Fendt offers a loder arm with a higher crossbeam, so that all components and lines are safe and protected. The weighing function of the Fendt Cargo Profi now also works while driving and in any tool position. In addition, the new Profi front loader now has a maintenance display that takes into account the actual operating time of the front loader. Work lights on the arm are available for better visibility.

Safe during transport

Vario transmission gives fast acceleration from 0 to 4 km/h without shifting, a comprehensive suspension makes the Fendt 300 Vario an efficient, comfortable and safe towing vehicle. The new LED headlights and LED daytime running lights significantly improve visibility in the dark and visibility in road traffic during the day. The new trailer brake assist provides additional safety. If the tractor detects that the trailer is pushing too hard, it automatically activates the trailer’s pneumatic brake. From Autumn 2026, an optional wear-free hydraulic auxiliary brake can be ordered.

Coordinated suspension, consisting of power lift damping, front axle, cab and seat suspension, ensures a good driving experience even in bad road conditions. The position of the lower link prevents collisions with trailers at the bottom hitch. In addition, there is now also the possibility of forced steering in the bottom hitch. Due to the 43l removable oil quantity, the Fendt 300 Vario can also completely tilt out trailers with large hydraulic cylinders.

Applications outside of agriculture

The single-stage Vario transmission combined with the high performance PTO, interfaces, mounting spaces for different implements, high driving comfort means the Fendt 300 Vario series is ideal for use outside of agriculture. A seat with a 3-point harness is available. LED daytime running lights and LED headlight increase visibility during mowing or mulching work or in winter service.

The optional laminated safety glass (LSG) lens makes visibility easier. It accelerates defrosting, and prevents ice from forming during snowfall. It also withstands flying debris better during hedge trimming or mulching work. Integrated splinter protection means the driver is protected from injuries. Electrically adjustable and heatable mirrors as well as municipal tyres can also be added.

As well as the locking system, the new series will also be fitted with an immobiliser. This system ensures maximum safety against machine theft and unauthorised use.

The series has already been approved for use with alternative fuels such as HVO100, as well as interchangeable refuelling, so that the CO2 footprint can be significantly reduced with this fuel. Optionally, bio-hydraulic oils enable the protection of the environment and use in sensitive areas.
